In 2018, Winchester Equities partnered with Summit Assets to create Newark-based Baldwin Equities and expand its portfolio to Newark – New Jersey’s largest city.
The name “Baldwin Equities” is inspired by writer and civil rights activist James Baldwin. Winchester Equities and Summit Assets recognized the City of Newark’s unlimited potential as a transit hub and vibrant college town with a large talent pool and proximity to New York City.
