Overview

Designed by John Welch, the beautiful 1850s Greek Revival building continues to serve as a gathering space for community groups, even after the destructive fire in 1992. To breathe new life and purpose into this iconic Newark landmark as well as anchor and preserve the rich legacy of the Lincoln Park Neighborhood for generations to come, Baldwin Equities has designed a mixed-use development.

LPCCD will retain an equity stake in the project.

The next chapter of Lincoln Park will be defined by its ever-evolving identity as a community – a community grounded in its rich history and culture and boldly builds towards a new generation that elevates and empowers the local people and neighborhood.
