Overview

Designed by world renowned architect Cass Gilbert, the former Hotel Indigo conversion will give its residents an opportunity to enjoy all the luxuries of a hotel in a residential setting. The hotel rooms have been converted to furnished studio apartments with state-of-the-art, custom, Italian furniture including murphy beds that transform the apartment from a bedroom to a living room or office. Other upgrades include a 65” smart TV, video-conferencing technology, a smart thermostat and spa-like bathrooms.

Each floor has been equipped with a laundry room for exclusive use of those tenants. Concierge services such as laundry, cleaning and food services will be offered for an additional fee. On the second floor of the building the Business Center and flexible meeting and conference rooms will serve as an incubator to help attract, develop, and create a community for young professionals who are willing to lead, innovate, and give back to the Newark region. Newark residents will receive a discount. The fitness center will feature a Mural by Lincoln Park Coast Cultural District (LPCCD) artist Gabriel Ribeiro, with the words “Newark Strong”.

The restaurant on ground floor and rooftop is Delta’s Southern Cuisine & Cocktails (https://deltasrestaurant.com/), owned by restauranteur Josh Suggs. Delta’s is a successful, upscale soul food restaurant. This is their first location outside of New Brunswick.
